However, about 1 in 5 of us struggle to get back to sleep. Here's one easy tip for the next time you find yourself wide awake and wired at 4 am: Avoid clocks. It may be tempting to check the time, but it's likely to make you worry about not getting enough sleep. That can make it harder for you to relax and drift off again.
